Shipping policy

At Dän Bakery, freshness is a rule, not a claim. Our products are created using slow fermentation and high-quality ingredients without artificial preservatives. To maintain the structural and flavor integrity of our artisanal craft, we focus on local consumption.

1. NO NATIONWIDE SHIPPING

To ensure you receive our products at their peak quality, we do not offer nationwide shipping via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Our artisanal breads and pastries are designed to be enjoyed the day they are baked and are not suited for long-transit shipping.

2. ORDER PICKUP

We encourage guests to collect their orders directly from the bakery to ensure peak freshness. Pickup services are facilitated through:

  • SQUARE: Our primary platform for pre-orders.
  • DOORDASH / POSTMATES / UBEREATS

Policy: Please arrive during your selected pickup window. Because we do not accept cancellations or refunds, orders not collected by the end of the business day will be forfeited. We do not sell "day-old" products.

3. LOCAL DELIVERY

Dän Bakery does not operate an in-house delivery fleet. Local delivery is managed exclusively by our Third-Party Logistics Partners. You can find us on:

  • DOORDASH
  • POSTMATES
  • UBEREATS

4. THIRD-PARTY RESPONSIBILITY

Once an order is handed over to a driver from our logistics partners, the handling and transit are managed entirely by that platform:

  • Logistics: Delivery timing and driver tracking are handled within the third-party app.
  • Disputes: For issues regarding delivery delays, driver conduct, or delivery fees, please contact the specific partner’s customer support directly.
  • Integrity: While we package our items securely, we are not responsible for the handling of products once they leave our facility at 64 South St.

5. FINALITY OF ORDERS

In accordance with our house discipline, all orders placed through our partners are final:

  • No Cancellations: Because our ingredients and fermentation schedules are committed to your order at the moment of purchase, we cannot accommodate cancellations.
  • No Refunds: Any issues regarding order fulfillment via delivery must be mediated through the third-party platform’s specific refund policy.
