Beef Samsa

Samsa is the baked savory pastry of Central Asia, sold hot at bazaars from Almaty to Tashkent. Ours wraps a house-made dough around ground beef and onion seasoned with cumin and black pepper, then is topped with black sesame and baked until crisp and golden.

A perfect snack, light lunch or partner for a cup of Tashkent tea. Made without nuts.
